A message from Orla and Sarah!
| |
Hi everyone! We hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend and are all set for some more Home Learning!
Seesaw
This week we will begin to use Seesaw. If we have received consent to set up a Seesaw account, we will have sent you the login code. The Seesaw consent form for all classes can be found here. There will be one small task each day assigned on the Seesaw app, not on this webpage.
Wellbeing Fortnight:
The first two weeks in May are our Wellbeing Fortnight in Citywest ETNS! One task each day will be focused on Wellbeing and will be found on this page.
Learning for this week
Here is our learning for this week:
English: Persuasive writing
Maths: Area
History: The Aboriginal people in Australia
Art: Aboriginal Art
Below you will find a suggested daily schedule on an easy-print document for each day. Each document also includes the relevant resources for that day. You will need to check back here for the website links, Powerpoint slides and teaching videos but everything else is included on the document. Just do your very best and be sure to send us one piece of work this week!
Daily tasks
Some activities are to be done every day, just like we did for our Home Learning throughout the year. We have listed them here and on each plan:
Good luck for this week!
We hope the work for this week goes well. Remember that the work assigned is only a suggestion. We understand that this is an extraordinary and challenging time - just do whatever is manageable for your family. If you would like to try some extra activities, remember to check out the Bonus Activities page on our website.
*And finally - don't forget to send at least one piece of work (or even just a little message!) to your teacher each week - we are always so happy to hear from you!
